TB-500 is a synthetic fragment of thymosin beta-4, widely recognised in research on regeneration and cell movement. It is commonly used in projects exploring the cytoskeleton, vessel formation, and repair processes in muscle and connective tissue.
The vial contains 5 mg of lyophilised peptide with good solubility in water and laboratory buffers. Every batch has its own number and certificate of analysis, supporting consistency across consecutive stages of research.
Form: lyophilised powder, white to off-white, in a glass vial with a butyl rubber stopper and an aluminium seal. Content: 5 mg of peptide per vial. Purity: not less than 98 % by HPLC, identity confirmed by mass spectrometry.
Because the lyophilisate is hygroscopic, vials are sealed under reduced pressure and should stay closed until use. The batch number on the label matches the certificate of analysis supplied with the shipment. Ships from Poland.
Keep the sealed vial of dry lyophilisate at −20 °C, in a dry place shielded from light. Brief transport at ambient temperature does not degrade quality; prolonged storage in warmth and humidity does.
In laboratory practice the lyophilisate is dissolved with bacteriostatic water or sterile laboratory-grade water, added slowly down the wall of the vial. Assist dissolution only by swirling the vial gently; shaking or high-speed vortexing causes foaming and partial denaturation. Hold the solution at 2–8 °C, protected from light, and split portions intended for longer storage into aliquots so that the whole volume is not frozen and thawed repeatedly.
